2E3 Class Camp By Jingwenn(: !

Day 1
I was very nervous for this camp. I kept thinking i forgot to bring something. In the morning, we attended morning assembly. Then left the hall at about 8.05am. We went straight to the camp room and the instructors collected our valuables. At the mean time, we get our day pack ready. After we're done, we went to the canteen and the instructors did a spot-check. The instructors introduced themselves and allowed us to board the bus. The bus was kind of small but we manage to squeezed in. The journey was long and sleepy. We reached the MOE Changi Adventure Coast at about 9.30am. The first thing we did was listen to the Kayaking safety briefing by an instructor. We paired up and got ready to set off. The kayaking was very fun. I'm sure we had fun, not until the rain poured down on us. I couldn't see a thing at all when the rain gotten bigger. We all went back to shore not long later. By the time we reached the shore, the rain had stopped. After that we rested & had our lunch under a dome. Right after lunch, we went to build our tents. Then we got to our groups and make a raft together. The sun was extremely hot. Unfortunately, my group was slow and we were the last team to complete it. But i was still contented with our raft. We were ready to sink! Well, in the end it didn't sink but everything breaked apart. We had some discussion of what happened today. And i learnt that TEAM (Together Everyone Acheive More) is important. Soon it was time for outdoor cooking. Then we played a game. It was AWESOME & FUN. After that it was sleeping time.

Day 2
We woke up at about 6am and unpitched our tents. We had our breakfast and boarded the bus to Sungei Buloh Nature Reserve. we watched a short video and set off for our walk. I love the walk a lot but not until mosquitoes had bitten me. We were all very tired by the time we ended our walk. On the way back to school, we did some cheers. Then we had lunch in school before starting on our Challenged Rope Course. I attempted 2 high elements only. One of which is the bridge with broken logs. It was scary at first because it felt like i was going to fall. The second high element was the Leap of Faith. I was the last person to attempt that. I wasn't scared but my hands were sweaty and i worried i might slipped off. I managed to jumped off and reached for the ladder. After that we were given our class t-shirt. I loved it a lot. Thanks Shannon! we changed into our class t-shirt and had dinner. Dinner was of course horrible. It was like last night's food. After we're done, we practiced our performance for tonight's camp fire. My group was very funny and we enjoyed our times together. After which, we were called back by the instructors to gathered. We practiced some cheers for later. At the camp fire, we started off with the camp fire song. My group's performance turned out fine. And everybody was shocked that i shouted. Some parents came and joined the fun. I really enjoyed the camp fire. And i almost lost my voice. Then some instructors told us some true life stories. Then we went for our shower. We gathered at the canteen for supper. As most of the class said that they're not tired, instructor Jia Ning brought us to the music room. We did our reflections that night. And so we went back to sleep in the hall.

Day 3
I woked up at 5.45am because my stomach was hurting. I went out of the hall and some people told me that their stomach hurts too. And some went to toilet for lots of time. Some said that it was food poisoning. I went to the toilet for 3 times and suspected that i was affected too. I washed up and went down to the canteen for breakfast. The food wasn't good too. Most of us feel like vomitting. I didn't finish my breakfast and had to throw it away because it was as horrible as last night's. We went to the music room after breakfast. A lot of us were feeling horrible. We did a review of CRP and we also watched a small part of a movie. We went to the camp room after we done with the CPR. Speedy told us stories again. Then we did some bandage stuffs. I enjoyed it a lot. Then we returned the mat and came straight to the IT lap 4. We did a lot of surveys on asknlearn. Then we started to blog in the class blog. Overall i think the camp is fun and i hope we continue to stay bonded like this.
