Part 2 of camp.

Day 1

We were building the raft, the weather was burning! I was there, not much of a help, lying down and resting. ( everyone witnessed it ) We were all sweating and thirsty. Looking at the two other rafts from the other groups, I knew we could not win. One of the group, led by Remmie, was brilliantly made, also neat. However, i had no confiedence, no hope in my team's as we were all in a mess. Every part of our skin which were exposed were all sunburnt until we became so much darker. I even looked a little different from before.
Then I met my friend, who was coming out of the toilet. He asked me if i needed sunblock lotion. I stood still, about to burst my anger out. I never knew someone brought along a sunblock lotion. However, it wasn't his fault either, so i kindly accepted his offering. When I returned, we had a short time left until we had to finish the raft. Looking at the raft, I already knew we had no chance of winning, and I didn't enjoy myself, not like expected.
Soon, it was time to set of our rafts, we carried it 'gently' into the water, then we set it off. We were all so tired. I pushed myself until i got onto the front barrel. Another member from the group got onto the front pole. But the others were still lacking behind. The other member went to the others to help them. I tried to help them to, but the waves were strong, the raft was unsteady and the pole which I used to go down the raft was moving with the waves so strongly, I was afraid that my leg got stuck in the rope. The pole will then hit my leg and there it goes. The barrel was unstable too, so coming off of it was not that easy. How ignorant of me, i feared my members saying. However, it can't be helped, I might be able to help them up, but I would have to risk losing my leg. I decided not to help them, but I knew everyone would blame me. It was a wrong move to go up the raft first, but seeing my friend do it, i did it to. I knew that my leg was more important than helping them.
Other rafts also set off the shore, one was even worst then ours, the other was much better, as the team leader had the experience. Three of our raft's barrels fell off, only mine remained, phew, I was lucky.
After the rafting, we needed to keep the items, I help to bring the items to high ground while other were collecting and giving it to me. we had a lecture and then was allowed to return to the tents we made.
In the evening, we gathered in the parking lot, ate a very deliteful dinner, compared to the others we had. We then played game in groupes, which we enjoyed alot, although we scoreed the lowest points. It was the only chance we got to act 'stupishly'. (not that I liked it )
When it was Milo time, I ws walking with my friends, near the road to the entrance. I was staring at a bush, not big, not small, but somehow I sense something creepy about it. Suddenly, my friend screamed, or shouted. We asked what happened, a amy friend told us he saw a face, when you looked at an angle to the bush i was STARING DIRECTLY AT. I was more creeped out. Then when we maganed to become calm again, we started walking again. It was then, a person in white was rollerblading on the road next to the camp. The freaky thing about him is that no one would rollerblade so late at night. He was wearing all white and he skate so fast we couldn't even see his legs. It ade him look like a ghost. Creepy.... one scare after another. When we seriously managed to calm down ourselves, we saw a few classmates, with Speedy. They were sitting under a lampost, talking abou something, but it was too far away to here it. Then one of my other classmate told me about a rumour, which was what happened to those people sitting under the lampost. She said that one scared he other one.
Speedy then walked to the crowd, a told everyone, that some things can't be explained by science or haven't been proven. My thought wa that it was completely linked to the classmates under the lampost. Speedy also said that from then on, in the ccamp, we had to go to the toilet with some friends.
When it was time to sleep, it was all quiet. Soon, an aeroplane came by. It was so loud that those who didn't sleep before that cannot sleep for a while after. And there were two victim in this tent, my friend, Daren, and I. We couldn't sleep, Then someone came up from the other tent. We could not see who is it, only here the voice, and it aid it wanted to go to the toilet, so Daren and I, who have nothing to do, accompanied him to the toilet, with some other friends. This carried oon until we were tired, then we slept. I pity those who could not find anyone to go with to the toilet.

Day 2

We only had a few hours to sleep, then it was dawn. It was the last day at Camp Camelot. I actually missed it. It was then time to pack up our tents and eat breakfast. Breakfast was quite good, considering that it was a camp. It was my favourite Breakfast. But some said it was too salty, which was just what I wanted.
A few moments later, we left the campsite. We all managed to fit into the bus, although it was 'a little' cramp. It only took a while until we reached our next destination, Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. It was "perfect"! My bag's zip was spoiled, and now I could not zip the compartment for the bag. "Great!" I told myself. We then watched a 15min show aout the Wetland Reserve. I admit, although it had lots of bugs in it, nature is worth alot more. If only I had brought my EOS, I could have took wonderful photos of the scenery. But such a big camera, is heavy and takes up alot of space and I had no smaller cameras. Oh well, like the saying goes, " When nature gives you lemon, youu make lemonades". Hahaha. It wasn't a total lost either.
When we got back to Christ Church Secondary, we had lunch and then got to to switch to our long pants for the Challenge Rope Course. I had no long pants, so I wore jeans. When it time to go for the course, we had a little briefing in the ISH, then we were separated into groups and then wore the gear.
When we were in the Rope Course area, we did the plank walk on the highest level. My groupmates were Daren, Johanthan, Remmie and I. Johnathan did not want to go, so it was only the three of us. As this was our first time, we were anxious. Bob said "Who wants to go first?" and we were pushing each other to the front. I knew that this would carry on until someone said yes, which nobody wants to. I knew that we were also wasting time, so I volunteered. I didn't even know if I made the correct decision. I climbed the pole, reached the top, looked down, and swallowed my saliva. It wasn't that high anyway. I then began to walk the plank. (Like the pirates, just kidding) I then began to grew confident in myself. Went i got down they gave me an applause. Nice...... I then helped Remmie and Daren to climb the stairs to the pole.
Next we went to the Leap Of Faith. Rumours around say its very scary, people say its very fun. I trusted people not rumors, so I was the third to jump. When It was my turn, I climbed the pole. It wa getting even shakier everytime I climbed higher, Well, I can't turn around now. I got to do what a man got to do. Before me, Everyone who jumped counted to three a jump. However, I was too afraid until I forgot to count. I just jumped. Then when I thought I was going to fall, something smooth and white touched my palms. I grabbed the pole and hold on.
The rest of th Course was fun too. When It was dinner time, We got to change before it. But I had no time for that as I helped the teacher to carry the equipments back to somewhere. When we ate dinner, the food looked okay, a little disgusting but okay. But when we ate it. I tasted a whole new thing. I tasted the smell of the black plastic bags used in the bins. But I had to at least eat some of it.
After dinner, we had our free time, that was when I changed. I then brought my sleeping mat with Luqman to the hall, and also brought our mug for Milo. I drank Milo until I was bloated. We were then ordered to go back to the camp room and wait there.
We were then oredered to line outside the room. Some of us thought it was nightwalk, but I was uncertain. However, we were then lead to the music room. In it was total darkness, we could only see outlines in the black. We were then tol by Speedy to form a circle, we did it several times and then the lights were on.
It was then Disco-Disco. We dance, we watched Sakda dance, we watched Bruce and Faris in a corner and watched Remmie doing the Baby. It was fun, the best thing that has happened in day 2. The songs were cool to, Ke$ha, All American Rejects, Super Junior and more. But the fun stopped when it ended. We went to the hall to sleep. Walking with a sad face that we could not Disco longer. We talked about ghost stories in the hall before we went to sleep.

Day 3

I sudddenly woke up in the midnight. My stomach was aching. It was then I realise I was sleeping on the light stick the whole time. I took it off, but my stomach still ached. I suddenly felt like going to the toilet. I tried to wake Jun Wei up, but he slept tight. I tried to wake others up, but I could not stand it. I dashed out of the hall. I really could not stand it. I passed by the teachers toilet, passed by the corridor and ran as fast as I could to the toilet at the end of the block. It was terrible. When I went back to the hall, I suddenly got the ache again, I called Jun Wei to accompany me outside the toilet. When it was over, I saw a few classmates outside. They asked me if I had stomach ache and I nodded my head. Then I knew I was not the only one.
When it was morning, everyone had stomach ache. We suspected that it was the noodles we ate for dinner last night. Everyone in this class camp has stomach ache, one even vomitted. We did some stuff in the third day and we got home. I knew in my heart that it was the best class camp in my live, and one to remember for times to come.
