2E3 Class Camp

1st day of camp:

On the first day of camp,we went to changi for kayaking and rafting.When we reach there,we put down our bags first,then,we went to have our briefing on kayaking.After the briefing,we went to take the kayak and the paddles,then,one by one we went to the sea to kayak.JingWen and I partner in the kayking.The weather started fine when we were kayaking,however,as we continue to kayak further,the sky starts to turn black and it started to rain,we had no choice but to paddle back to the shore.The rain was getting heavier and heavier,i couldn't look straight as the rain kept on dropping into my eyes,but as we were getting nearer to the shore the rain subsided.When we reached the shore,we carried the kayak and the paddle back into the places where we first took it.My arms were ACHING from all the paddling!!!!!

Next,we were told to build our raft ourselves,we gather the things needed for building the raft-6 pipes,4 barrel,and 1 box of ropes.We discussed about how to build the raft first,then we went to have our lunch.The lunch was quite okay.After the lunch,we went to build the tent where we will be sleeping in the night.We then returned to continue discussing about how to build our raft.After discussing,we start to build the raft.After around 1 hour plus we finally finished building our raft,however,we discovered that the ropes that were used to tied the barrels and pipes together were not tight enough,therefore,we had to dismantle the raft and restart on building the raft again.This time we use only the barrels.We were the last team to finished building the raft and we were very hot as the sun shone at us.We then take our raft into the sea to see if whether it float or not,but luckily our raft can float but it was very diffficult to climb onto it,the ropes got loosen and one of the barrel came out.The rest of the team also did well for their raft.

Next is our outdoor cooking,we are going to have magi mee for our dinner together with baked beans,vegetables,hotdogs,and sardine.After the dinner,we had Whiz Challenge.It was very fun as it help us to bond as a team,although we did silly things together but I enjoy myself very much.Then we went to bath,had our supper and then we went to sleep in the tent.

2nd day of camp:

In the morning of 2nd day in camp,I woke up at around 6 and I found out that I had sun burns around my neck and nose and it was super,super painful!!!!!We then carried our things outside the tent so that we could take down the tent. Then I went to brush my teeth with my friends. We had Bee Hoon for our breakfast,it was very SALTY!!!!!And the milo doesn't taste like milo at all!!!!

We then board the bus to Sungei Buloh.Unfortunately,when we reached there it was high tide,therefore we couldn't see any animals.But I saw a squirrel jumping from tree to tree!!!!!

We board the bus back to school.Once back to school.we headed to the camp room to change into our long pants for the CRC.We walk to the basketball court for the briefing on the CRC.There was a total of 5 challenges and each pupils must complete at least 3 of the challenges.

The first challenges for my group was the Leap of Faith.I was excited yet scared.While it was going to be my turn soon it started to rain,we had no choice but to go back to the basketball court for shelter and wait until the rain stop.While waiting we played "Blow Wind Blow".After a few rounds the rain stop and we could go back to our challenges,however,I was unable to do the Leap of Faith as we are changing stations.I did a total of 1 high and 2 low challenges,it was quite fun and easy too.If I had the chance,i want to try the Leap of Faith.

It was dinner time,and we were having the food from the Western food stall. The food was very oily and it doesn't taste good at all!!Then we are going to have a skit during the camp fire.We quickly thought of the title for the skit and we came up with the title of "Respect".We rehearse the play for a couple of time and then it was time for the camp fire to start.Some of the classmate's parents came to watch the camp fire.We did lots of cheers and groups were called infront to present their skit to the class.

The camp fire ended quickly and we went to bath,have our supper,write our reflections and then we went to the hall to sleep.

3rd day of camp:

It was the last day of camp,and i woke up at 6.Some of my classmates were having stomachache including me,due to the food that we ate last night!!!It was terribly painful and we had to go to the washroom a lot of times.The breakfast was horrible too but the milo was quite okay...next we went to the music room for the recap of CPR.Then we went back to the camp room and we learn how to help bandaged others.We then went to the IT lap to do surveys.

And finally it was time to go home!!
