First day of camp was okay, we set off for Camelot after we left our things in the camp room. When we reached Camelot, we went for kayaking. We took our PDFs , but when my hand touched the PDF, i felt something funny. I looked at my hand and guess what? Curses, it was a bird poop! Disgusting. "Camelot sucks." was the only thing at my mind then.
We started kayaking later, and my partner was Remmie. I must say, he's a small man but he's strong! A yellow paddle was raised and all of us rafted up and got instructions to get to a certain destination. After breaking raft, we did not start paddling as the others we blocking the front. It was only afer like 10 seconds then we started kayaking. We had very bad communication as we kept hitting each other's paddles accidentally, but we emerged third in eighteen rafts. It rained as soon as we rafted up and broke off to kayak back to the starting point. I got very demoralised when it rained very heavily as we had a hard time getting back.
As soon as we went back, the rain stopped. We washed up the gears and had lunch. I got posted as the garbage boy after that and for the whole camp, i had to clear all the rubbish after every single meal; sad for me. Pitching tents was the next thing, it was easy and just too tempting to just fall in it and sleep. After that, we went for improvised rafting. My team was the one with the most unique raft. But, everyone epic failed in the end.
We cleaned ourselves after rafting and went straight for outdoor cooking. I shall not explain what happened as i am lazy to share. My group members will explain it in their posts anyway.
At night, we had supper and something happened bad happened. Everyone knows, i will not elaborate as it will only remind us of bad memories. We got to sleep later and i had a hard time sleeping. I got 16 mosquitoes bites within 2 hours. I am a great blood donor. I only got to sleep at 0430 and woke up at 0630. Not good.
Second day , we boarded the bus to Sungei Buloh after having salty Bee Hoon and milo. The nature trail wasn't as exciting as ever; as i had been there for about 2 times and now is the third. We did not spot any birds except squirrels. Bob said he would give Shermin a bottle of green tea if she copied down every thing she saw. She really did it. For the green tea, she would really do anything.
School was where we headed to after that and we had lunch after changing and finishing a question paper. Lunch SUCKS. i ate less than half of it and the rest was found in the rubbish bin.
After lunch we headed straight for the CRC. It was easy. Leap of faith was only exaggerated by others; it was ridiculously easy. Pull -ups was easy when you're on belay. The other 4 were'nt as fun as compared to the first. We got the thing we had been waiting for this whole camp after that - class camp tee! It was far nicer than i expected it to be.
We had the worst dinner of our lifes later. the spaghetti was like killed worms cooked in mee goreng style. Sorry for the bad insult, but it was true.
Its campfire time at 7+ or 8. Parents joined the fun and we laughed at the skits we came up with. Everyone had a great time . It can be counted as one of the most memorable parts of the camp.
We washed up after that , had supper and did reflection after that at the music room. It was the most memorable part for all of us .
Sleeping time . My friends and i played with the pull up bar for awhile before going to sleep. My friends and I could'nt sleep and we "talked" for "awhile" before going to sleep.
And now, third day. Sloppy attitude as this is the last day. The toilets were full and when anyone comes out, you can see them clutching their abdominal area hard. We got a bad stomach ache due to dinner on day two. I would not confirm that it is dinner but the chances are high. It was a tough fight between the pain as we learned first-aid and recap on CPR. And now, we are here posting our thoughts. ** sorry if i missed out any intresting part. i have bad memory .
Remarks => Meals must be changed, beware of poop anywhere you go, dont make fun of ghosts .. not fun at all. Everything in this camp is unpredictable. Lastly, Anyone who entered the camp will CONFIRM, enjoy themselves.
niceee ~
