Class Camp ~ Kathleen (06)

1st DAY

Yay, the FIRST day of CAMP!

Me -> Excited like hell

Everyone else -> Bored like hell

.........

Nevermind, before I even went to school, I met up with a few of my friends, then STUPID me, asked them to go to school with a taxi, then ended up losing 20 minutes of our time -.-

Then we ended up being ALMOST late, but still got in time.

Then in the bus, I sat at the back with Shermin, K.Jia Ying, Jannah and Veraley and played until mad. Then when we ate lunch, we puked the disgusting worms called 'food'.

Then during the kayaking, I partnered up with K. Jia Ying, I was having fun until the frickin' rain started pouring. I rested a few times, around 4 because my arms were screaming for rest, while Jia Ying kept on going, THANK YOU! I couldn't really see where I was going because the rain made me close my eyes (should've bought goggles), so we followed our instructor's voice and AMAZINGLY got it right.

Then we pitched our tents and went on to rafting.

Then the rafting, sigh... seriously tiring. We had to work under the sun for 2-3 hours, and all of us got sunburnt even though we put on sunblock. Our noses were as red as Rudolph. Note to self: never trust advertisements EVER again.

The raft was a COMPLETE.... failure.

Sigh, nevermind, anyway.

Then we did the whiz quiz, my group, Group B, got the least number of tasks done. But it was okay, no loss anyway. The tasks made me as hyper as a baby on a sugar rush. There were crazy tasks, mad tasks, disgusting tasks and funny tasks. The task I liked the most was... DRUMROLL PLEASE! -drumroll- Ask a person of the opposite gender out for a date, and if that person doesn't want to, SMACK that person!

Just kidding, the 'smack that person' thing was a joke. Teehee!

Then our groups did the outdoor cooking, luckily the hotdogs weren't undercooked, and then, madly, mixed the baked beans with the cooked hotdogs. It surprisingly tasted nice. I told my group to try to eat as little beans as possible because beans make you fart.

Then I found out K. Jia Ying farted in her tent later on. Hahas! Don't worry, it's a NATURAL PROCESS!

Before we slept, during the supper, I don't know why, but suddenly everyone was screaming about ghosts. They only need to be scared if they can see the ghost. No need if you can't see.

I don't see the big deal with that. Some of the girls were crying about it, but I won't talk about it any further. Then we all slept, except for my tent. We were trying to cheer Veraley up by playing games, but some people in other tents asked us to keep quiet. Then we all slept.

END OF DAY 1

DAY 2

I was woken up in the friggin' 4am, then alot of people were already walking outside, mostly the guys, then I went back to sleep. I woke up again a few hours later, and I was REALLY cold.

We ate breakfast (which was the only thing I thought in camp was ACTUALLY food) and took down the tents, packed it and put it into the tent bag.

Then at the bus, going to Changi , I sat with the same people and shouted the cheers, though Jannah was sleeping (I understand your pain).

Then we were split up into our groups and went our seperate ways. Bob likes taking pictures. At some part of the journey, Group B and Group D met up and went together for some time, then split up again. Then I realised I left my shoe bag with Jannah when our groups met and I asked her to help me carry it. Then we met up again in one of the resting spots and she gave me back my shoe bag. Shermin, who was in Group D, was writing notes down like mad, because she pestered Bob, saying that if she does the worksheet, he would have to buy for her green tea. Shermin -> Green Tea Addict.

Then when we finished, we went back to the bus, but I sat with Amanda because everyone asked me to sit down faster, so I got annoyed with them and faster sat down, Then I slept all the way back to school.

We did the worksheet for the reserve, and then ate. AGAIN, the food stank. We ate the food from 'Western Food', but it STILL sucked.

Then we changed into our P.E. shirts and long pants and did our high elements. I was scared at first, then when I calmed down after doung the first two, it was actually fun, then I did everything except for the ladder because there was no time. We played Blow Wind Blow somewhere in the middle of the high elements because it was raining. I prayed that the rain didn't ruin the campfire.

Then during the campfire, we did our skits and cheered until our voices were hoarse. We danced in a circle, with random people then finished with a prayer. Then we ate dinner, which we didn't know, was poisoned. We layed our sleeping mats in the hall before bathing. Then we ate supper, which consisted of cookies and milo, then slept.

DAY 3

I woke up at 6am, for SOME reason, my intestines felt like it was being squeezed, I thought it was just a stomach ache, then found out almost half of the class got one. Then we found out later we were having diarrhoea, and I stayed in the bathroom for about 1 hour, then finished and went to the Music Room for CPR.

We went to the IT room to finish our blogs and the surveys, and got our phones and wallets back, then we were FREE to go! I went to MacDonald's with some of my friends later on, I was NOT going to eat school food EVER AGAIN!
