CLASS CAMP !!!!
1st Day of Camp
On the first day of camp, after the morning assembly, we went to the camp room to put down our stuff and take with us only our day packs to Changi. We board the bus and I slept for the whole journey. When we reached the Changi Adventure Centre, we were paired up and carried our kayaks to the shore. Before we kayak we did the water confidence. The water was so cold! My partner was YuTing. Seriously, it was fun to kayak with her! When we were starting to have fun, it started to rain. YuTing and I paddled with all our might as we did not want to stay in the sea in the heavy rain. The water kept running into my eyes so i have to wipe the water away every few minutes! When we reached the shore, the rain started to minimize. Everyone helped to keep the kayaks and paddles. Next we were formed into groups. I was in group D. But for the rafting, i was in group C. Before we had lunch, we gathered the pipes, barrels and ropes for rafting. Next was lunch, it was quite satisfying.
Then it was time to bult the raft. Everyone helped to build the raft under the hot sun except two person. After all the hard work, the raft was was finally completed we checked the raft more than thrice. Our raft seem to survive in the sea the longest. But all we got was sun burn... We helped to keep the barrels and stuff and next we build our tents. The tent building was quite fast. Then we did outdoor cooking. My group took some time to decide what to cook first. We had instant noodles, baked beans, sardine hot dogs and vegetables. Yeah, DeSheng did not eat the vegetables.
Then we did the whizz challenge. Although we did lots of crazy stuff, it was awesome. Next was time to bathe. I remember how long i waited for Kathleen to bathe... Next was supper time. We had milo and biscuits. Then we brushed our teeth and it was time to sleep i tried to sleep the whole night, but with shermin beside me, it was hard to sleep.
2nd Day of Camp
We woke up at 6am, brushed our teeth, kept the tent and gathered for breakfast. The noodles were quite salty, but still edible. We board the bus and went straight to Sungei buloh. First we watched a video clip about the mangrove swamp. Then we started walking and walking with our heavy bags, ate some biscuits and then walked. I tried to copy all the names of the species and plants but where is my green tea?! Then we went back to school for our CRC in the ISH. We were about to do the leap of faith but i did not get to do it because it started to rain. I felt so miserable for not getting to do it. We got our new camp tee and i think our index numbers look wierd on the sleeve.
Then it was time for dinner. At first it was so iritating as we had to do the cheer many times before we could eat. The food was inedible, but i ate everything except the bread anyway... Then, we cleaned the canteen and planned our skit. The skit was about a rude student and the teacher. Then slowly all the parents came, and the camp fire started. We did all those cheers and the skit then we went to bathe. Next we went to the music room for reflection and then we went to the hall to sleep.
3rd Day of Camp
We woke up, brushed our teeth and head down to the canteen for breakfast. I finished breakfast as it was quite edible to me. Then we went to do CPR, bandaging. I remebered sleeping during the whole talk. I felt quite blurr when i woke up. Then we went to the com lab and did the reflection, got back our valules and went home with the heavy bags. >_<
