On the first day,we did kayaking at Changi and it was awesomely fun. During the kayaking session, it rained halfway yet we did not give up.I find it really fun and hoped it never end, but it was tiring. After a short break, we had our rafting and had to build a raft using barrels and poles. My group, group A, put in alot of effort in making the raft as we kept changing plans but yet, we did not give up halfway even though there wasn't much time left.
Then there was the outdoor cooking. Me and my partner cooked the maggi and it was delicious. It didn't end just yet. We also had a whiz challenge which i found it to be the most memorable experience. My team really bonded during the challenge. It was fun doing some funny poses and actions. We showed alot of teamwork. After wash up, we had our supper. A few people were crying because the were scared to death after a horrifying incident that happened. Then it was time to shut our eyes.
Second day. I felt rather akward not showering in the morning, but we were only given time to rinse. The milo during breakfast was horrible. All of us didnt think it even tasted like one and some said the breakfast was a little bit salty. I just ate them because thats the only food we were going to have for the time being. Sungei Buloh, it was a great experience and mind freshing. We got to see different species of plants and animals. We mainly learned about the mangrove tree. When one of the instructor, Pepsi, told a story related to the mangrove tree. It was about the mangrove tree being able to control the speed and flow of water. I did not knew till it was told. After few rounds around the nature reserve, it was time to head back to school.
When we reached school we had to put our bags at the camp room and soon after that we were going to have our lunch. I find that lunch was horrible. After that we had our CRC. It was the greatest experince of my life. I did two high elements which was hard to overcome but i did it. I was soo glad after i had done it. When i was about to do the Leap Of Faith, i actually didnt have any faith in myself. But thanks to Mira who cheered me on when i was high up about to leap, shaking nervously. At last i was ready. "Jumping..." , as i said nervously and i jumped out and high. I did it, i was soo happy because i thought i couldn't. It made me realise that if you set your goals, you believe you can, that means you can do it.
After a tiring day of CRC, it was dinner. I would like to admit that it was the most horrible dinner i have ever eaten After a tiring day of CRC, it was dinner. I would like to admit that it was the most horrible dinner i have ever eaten as well as the whole class. We had to pick up our rubbish after that. It was nearly campfire. We splitted to our groups to create a skit about team bonding. We really had alot of fun and laughter while doing the skit. It was really awesome. Then we gathered to practise some cheers. Parents walked in slowly as time passed. Then it was Campfire time. I felt that the class has really bonded and i really enjoyed the campfire soo much. I really hoped that it never ended. Then it was wash up time and supper and the milo was nice. It was really a long and most fun day ever.
The third last and most final day. It felt like time moved soo fast. I felt as if i did not have enough sleep but he most shocking thing was nearly the whole class had stomach ache. I did not have the mood to eeat breakfast as my stomach was really pain. And the milo during breakfast was super nice. After throwing away th food because it was not appetizing, me and Wardah ran to the toilet as we had a stomach ache. I was relieved. The toilet soon became crowded as one by one had stomach ache. It was due to the dinner the previous day and therefore we had food poisoning. After that we had our first aid lesson and writing this reflection.
In a whole, I find that this is one of the best camps ever then our previous camp. We get to dp more things and bond more. I really hope that the camp wouldn't end. It is the best experience ever.
